Our group has been active for several months now, many of us as direct innocent victims of GW Legal Department.

The page will try to give you a brief description on what is going on and why your auctions may be shut down without any reason by Games Workshop Legal. These are not actual facts, but notions collected by testimonials and various sources.

According to our sources GW has a bunch of people reporting them items for sale that may seem suspect. I will say just a bunch of looser that have nothing better to do in their free time. Different story is if you report someone after you get a recast model.

The sellers reported are not only limited to eBay, but include other sites such as FB and Etsy, but are not limited to these. 

 

Once reported Games Workshop Legal ( I will say in a very randomly and unscrupulous way) reports the seller to the sites were the sale is hosted. With eBay directly to the VeRO program. 

 

eBay and other sites will not question such request and automatically close the auction/sale or page. The seller will then get a message stating:
 

Dear Sirs,This item has come to our attention on the basis that we believe it represents an infringement of Games Workshop Limited's intellectual property rights. The item concerned has not been manufactured or produced by Games Workshop (owner of the original intellectual property) and therefore your actions indicate the production and/or the sale of fake/pirate goods.Specifically, you have created and/or sold fake/pirate copies of Games Workshop's sculpted miniatures. These products have been produced using materials and processes that Games Workshop Limited does not use.Therefore, we have requested that eBay remove these listings.For any questions please read our Intellectual Property Policy at http://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Intellectual-Property-Policy. If you have any doubts regards the contents of this email we recommend you seek legal advice. Yours faithfully,Group Legal Department - Games Workshop Group plcFor and on behalf of Games Workshop Limited

Your sale or auction is now cancelled, the time you invested in taking pictures, uploading them, writing text and any charge you paid to list an item is now lost. Your account is now vilified. 

NOTE: The above email is generated based on just pictures and not the actual item being sold or traded. 

Can you tell me if these models are recast just by the picture?
